The Borough Music Festival will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in the Naugatuck High School Davis Auditorium. The performance starts at 7:00 PM.
Parents wishing to purchase extra tickets to the music festival should click here to request extra tickets. Extra tickets will be done on a first come first serve basis as seating is limited. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Concert dress is as follows:
White shirt, dark bottom.
Boys must wear a tie.
Girls dresses/skirts must be appropriate length.
Dress shoes, if possible.
SoundSport Students will NOT wear the Lumos T Shirt.

SoundSport Percussionists – Please bring your instruments home and return them to City Hill following the Borough Festival Performance today.
Concert Band (5-7) Students are reminded to bring flashlights.
Reminder: Please arrive at NHS at 6:00 PM for warm-up’s. Signs will point you to your warm-up location. All students are expected to stay for the entire performance.
Recorders (Grade 4) – Green Room
Concert Band (Grades 5-7) – Choir Room
Symphonic/Jazz Band (Grades 8-12) – Band Room
Anyone who requested extra tickets online but did not receive them can pick them up at Will-Call in the auditorium lobby tonight. Your tickets are available and you may pick them up and pay for them there.
There are still a limited number of tickets that will be available at the door on a first come first serve basis.
Our Choral Spring Concert will be held on May 15, 2018 at 7PM in the auditorium.
Choral students are to wear white tops and black bottoms.
The Vocals and Treble Choir are to white tops and black bottoms.
Students should arrive at school at 6:30PM, the night of the concert.
The concert should last about 45 minutes.
Attendance by students in these groups is expected, and we ask that parents call the school if they anticipate any serious conflicts. Please be aware that your child has been working extremely hard in preparation for their performance.
I ask that parents and other audience members plan on staying for the entire performance.

Our grade 7 & 8 instrumental music spring concert will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
Band students are to wear their parade attire:
Uniform Tops (Provided) and Black Pants.
SoundSport students are to wear their SoundSport attire:
SoundSport Shirts, Black Pants and Capes. SoundSport students do not need to wear the parade uniform tops for the concert.
Students should arrive at school at 6:30PM, the night of the concert. The concert should last about one hour.
Attendance by students in these groups is expected, and we ask that parents call the school if they anticipate any serious conflicts. Please be aware that your children have been working extremely hard in preparation for their performance.

*In order to make up for some lost rehearsal time due to weather, we would like to begin promptly at 5:00 in order to finish the show and be prepared for the performance. Please be sure to arrive by 5:00. If you need a ride, please coordinate with another SoundSport member.

Performance Time: 8:00 PM
Performance Dress: Black Pants/ Black SoundSport Shirts / Capes (We will hand the shirts and capes out at the rehearsal!) Please bring a “WAND” (stick)
Instruments: You are responsible for bringing your own instrument. All instruments (except keyboard, amp, and timpani) will be carried by you to NHS. Please bring them home after rehearsal on March 29 and bring them to NHS on April 5. Percussion and keyboard instruments will remain at NHS following Friends and Family for use at Borough Festival rehearsals and performance. You are responsible for bringing all percussion and keyboard equipment to the band room following performance to lock them up safely!!
DO NOT LEAVE INSTRUMENTS IN THE GYM AREA!!!!!

Congratulations to these students from City Hill Middle School that participated in the annual CMEA Southern Region Music Festival held on March 10 at Haddam-Killingworth Middle School.
CMEA Southern Middle School Rehearsal and Concert is on for Saturday, March 10.
PLEASE DROP YOUR CHILD OFF AT CITY HILL BY 7:15AM. Bus will leave City Hill parking lot at 7:30AM to bring students to the Saturday rehearsal and concert at Haddam-Killingworth Middle School, CT-81 451, Killingworth.
Students, be sure to bring: music, instrument, pencil, water, lunch for Saturday and also money for concert tickets ($10.00 each).
Students are to dress in their concert attire as there will be no changing facilities.
