Band students are to wear the following attire:
White Shirts and Black Pants.
Students should arrive at school at 6:30PM, the night of the concert. The concert should last about one hour.
Attendance by students in these groups is expected, and we ask that parents call the school if they anticipate any serious conflicts. Please be aware that your children have been working extremely hard in preparation for their performance.
We ask also that parents and other audience members plan on staying for the entire performance.
Congrats to these students that auditioned for the Southern Regional Middle School Festival on Saturday, December 2.
Results will be in shortly.
Congratulations to these students that participated in the annual ACDA Middle school Honors Choir under the direction of Jon Noyes.
This was held on October 21 at Manchester High School.
WAY TO GO!!!!!
I would like to take a moment to welcome your child to the seventh grade band at City Hill Middle School. I am very eager to work with your children this year. I have heard how well they have done and I know we are going to see so much musical growth over the next two years at City Hill!
In order to get the school year started with minimal disruptions, I would like to ask all incoming seventh grade band parents to take a moment to answer a couple questions that will help get our school year off to a great start.
Please click HERE in order to answer these questions. Again, it will only take a moment for you, but it will help us make music more quickly when school starts!
Thank you so much for your assistance!
Good morning. It does not look as heavy of rain as they predicted last night, but we are still likely to get a little wet! Please feel free to bring a poncho or rain gear if you have it.
Thank you also to the volunteers that are willing to come join us in the rainy weather today!
See you at St. Mary’s Church Parking Lot at 8:30.
We are keeping an eye on the weather and I’ve been in touch with Mrs. Mezzo regarding our participation in the parade. We will be making a decision at about 7:30 AM regarding whether City Hill will be marching or not.
If we do march, the weather will be cool. Please wear a long sleeve shirt under the band shirt. Dress in layers to keep warm! If you have a rain poncho, please feel free to wear it!
We are also looking for one or two additional volunteers due to cancellations. If you are willing to walk in the rain with the band, and carry some supplies and water, please send me an email at email@example.com.
Thank you very much! Please check back at about 7:30 AM.
